Lesson 89: Focus on that which is true, good, and beautiful

Hi friend,

I'm writing to you from Ottawa, where my family and I find ourselves this long weekend before our children's school restarts on Tuesday.

The opportunity to travel, observe, and reflect on the past, the present, and the future is a blessing.

Seeing a former manager (Mary) and her family, catching up, and appreciating the positive impact that she has had in my life thus far has been wonderful.

Exploring Canada's capital has been a joy, including walking through the Glebe neighbourhood, petting goats with the kids at the Canada Agriculture and Food Museum, visiting Grace City Church for the first time, and watching an amateur boxing tournament at the Beaver Boxing Club.

Our lives are short. The years fly by rather quickly. And yet we can choose to be intentional each day in how we love with our words and actions, how we serve others, and what kind of an example we are for our family, our friends, our coworkers, and the broader community.

Let's make this week matter. Let's love. Let's focus on that which is true, good, and beautiful.
